Banugat is a UK based limited edition wristwear design house. We aim to reduce waste in the fashion industry by limiting the number of wrist accessories we produce.
Providing lovers of watches & accessories with our digital collectables is one of our ways of doing this.

This will be your first time seeing some of them and being able to collect them.
Collecting these NFTs gives you the licence to recreate a physical copy through us.
Your NFT is also a certificate of ownership, giving you perks that Banugat offers, such as; Free Delivery, Quality Guaranteed & 2 Years Movement Warranty on all watches we produce.

How It Works
The Purpose of our NFTs is to give our collectors confidence that their watch is truly limited.
Only the holder of the NFT will be able to produce a 1-of-1 copy of their watch through us. Our aim is to keep the majority of the value of the watch in the NFTs. This is also our way of fighting counterfeiting. Counterfeiters can make copies if they want but a watch without its paired NFT becomes of lesser value automatically.
The NFT’s source can also be verified on the Solana Blockchain. This also helps fight counterfeiters who may want to take screenshots of the NFT to make copies.
Holders of an NFT can redeem a physical watch (with additional costs for bespoke service), hold their NFT or resell it on NFT marketplaces.
The net revenue from the NFT sales will be used to cover tooling costs & some parts of production costs for the attached collection. Therefore, digitising the value collectors have brought to our brand.
Purchasing or minting a Banugat NFT secures your spot to own a 1 of 1 physical version of your NFT. That being said, only a verified holder of an NFT will be granted access to utilise our bespoke service for our NFT collections.
The net revenue generated from NFT sales will be spent on the tooling costs for a collection.
Our Insurance Policy
One of our core values is sharing the value our collectors bring to our brand. Since purchasing a Banugat watch through our bespoke service bring value to Banugat, a lifetime insurance policy is attached to the NFT.
The Insurance policy covers damage & loss & can only be redeemed once. Please note that the insurance policy is ONLY attached to the NFT and not the watch. This means that only the NFT holder can claim this policy.
We therefore, expect that the NFT increases in Value because it now has an insurance policy attached to it. This is in addition to how much others cherish the design.
The seller of the NFT can also specify this information to potential buyers.
When purchasing an NFT that claims to have an insurance policy attached, we advise that the buyer verifies this with us before purchasing.
Please Note: An NFT and its paired watch can be sold together at the sellers desired price.

If you have just minted a Banugat watch from your favourite collection or purchased one from a marketplace, you can get your watch made by us through our bespoke service.
Trade Them
Our NFT watches can be traded on any Solana Marketplace that supports Solana Blockchain Platform. Some popular ones are Digital Eyes & SolSea.

Banugat collections are not just watches, they are cool and good conversation starters. Artsy and elegant, Banugat Watches should increase the chances of another watch lover striking a conversation with you. I can imagine one day in the future someone sends Banugat a message to say, “I connected with my business partner because they struck up a conversation about my watch”.
Currently, we can help you produce a physical copy of your watch. In the future, we would like to include support for Apple Smart Watches & Google Wear OS devices. Allowing NFT holders to use their NFTs as backgrounds on their smartwatches. We Would also like for you to wear your watch in the Metaverse. Partnering with different Metaverse creatives is one of our priorities to allow you to wear your art with you everywhere you go.
We receive a maximum of 7% royalties from the sale of any of our creations.
In the future when we allow NFT holders to stake their NFTs for rewards, holders will be able to use or add tokens to the purchase of a physical watch.
Road Map
What I discovered then was that my friends loved what I was doing but they were not heavily interested in wrist watches like I was and the only way they could support my business easily was to buy a watch that they didn’t need. This is clearly an unfair transaction for my friends. A better transaction however would be for them to be able to invest as little as they can into the business. If they like the return on investment, i.e. real time value increase, they can invest more. Just like you do when trading.
